Dohány Street Synagogue

The largest synagogue in Europe, the Dohány Street Synagogue, is located in Dohány Street, in the former Jewish Quarter. The building plays an active role in the cultural life of the capital, it is a venue for classical music concerts and festivals, organ concerts and cantor performances are also often performed within its walls.

The synagogue is 550 meters from our hostel on foot and 750 meters by car. It can be reached by public transport in 5 minutes by trolley-bus number 74 (to Astoria M stop).
